Welcome to the sixth installment of our employee spotlight series. We’d like to take this opportunity and introduce you all to Paul Headley, Director of Client Strategy and Analytics.
Paul’s an analytical mastermind who is always looking to learn more. He’s a humble man with the beard to match. When he’s not blending data through an omnichannel lens to create custom digital strategies, he’s enjoying the occasional trip to Flagstaff and honing his somersault and homework skills to keep up with his kiddos.
When did you first join the ZTeam? What was your starting position and what is your position now?
I’ll be with ZOG, an Investis company two years come January. I started as Sr. Strategist and am now Director of Client Strategy and Analytics.
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a medal for?
I feel like I could bring home the gold in pie and crust making.
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Ask everyone in the company whom I’m IMing at one o’clock in the morning.
How did you first find yourself in the digital marketing realm?
I started my career late as a consumer research analyst and it just evolved to where I am today.
What game or movie universe would you most like to live in? And why?
I would thrive in Pawnee Indiana, simply because.
What’s your greatest accomplishment in life to this date?
The Steve and Ms. Sofia, a.k.a. My children.
If you suddenly became a master at woodworking, what would you make?
A really cool canoe, followed by a legit totem pole to row it around in.
At work, what are people most likely to ask for your help with?
Something analytics related. Mostly I’m asking others for advice and ideas. I really enjoy the knowledge share we have at ZOG Digital and the openness to share ideas.
What’s the latest song that you just can not get out of your head?
I’ve been on this wild Old Crow Medicine Show kick lately, so probably Sweet Amarillo or Wagonwheel.
What do you wish you could tell yourself 10 years ago? And what do you think you’ll want to tell your current self 10 years from now?
10 years ago: Make better decisions. 10 years from now: Are you making better decisions?
What’s your go-to Phoenix activity?
Anything having to do with eating food.
